MRC HO/O(2-rail)/G* scale 16-Bit Sounder^TM DCC diesel sound (only) decoder with 28 accessory functions. This decoder replaces the #1662 8-bit Sounder decoder which is out of production.

The MRC Sounder is a sound-only decoder with speaker that is easily added to any HO/O(2-rail)/G scale locomotive equipped with a standard, non-sound decoder or any piece of rolling stock equipped with wheel pickups.

16-bit sound technology provides a level of sound reproduction quality and "presence" not previously available. Includes three types of prime mover sounds, multiple horns & bells, brakes, air releases, pop valves, cooling fans, coupling sounds and more.
